Closed cooling tower, also known as the closed circuit cooling tower or closed loop cooling tower, which is becoming more and more common in industrial cooling field. During our sales, we noticed that a lot of customer concerned about issues such as closed cooling tower heat dissipation effect, so we would like to share some knowledge about the heat dissipation effect of closed cooling tower
Before we explain the heat dissipation effect, we have to know its principle first. When cold dry air get into the cooling tower, the high temperature saturated water molecules in the closed cooling tower spread into the cold dry air, which carring the rejected heat, then the fan hausted the hot humid air out of closed cooling tower, so as to achieve the purpose of cooling.
So what are the factors that affect the heat dissipation effect of closed cooling tower?
The operation environment;closed cooling towers should be installed in the ventilation area, such as, the workshop roof, or the open area of factory. After the cooling tower is installed, try to avoid any operation around the cooling tower, especially construct any objects around the closed cooling tower, which will change the ventilation environment.
Fan and air volume;If cooling effect is reduced, check the fan and air volume and see if they can reach the cooling requirement. The air volume is mainly affected by the fan. So customers need to check the fan blade angle if there are any damages or angle displacement, replace the fan blades, or adjust the angle.
If spray water reduced, it will lose heat dissipation effect. Check whether the pump pressure is stable, make sure there is no air in the pump, check whether the water pipes are blocked or not.Water spray system is an important part of closed cooling tower. Spraying water evenly is very important, it covers the entire condensation cycle, try to avoid drying points and scaling.
The scaling has a certain effect to the closed cooling system, especially to the spray water system and coil pipes. For spray water system, it will effect the spary water capacity and reduce the water evaporative efficiency. For coil pipes, it will effects the heat exchange efficiency. So customers need to pay attention to the water quality control.
